About Marvellous.

Marvellous Babysitting is transforming the way families find trusted childcare support. Founded by Norland Alumna Ella Trigwell, Marvellous has created a modern solution that provides access to experienced and fully vetted nannies via a convenient and easy to use app.

We have a partnership with the esteemed Norland College, which enables us to allow parents to book Norland Nannies, who not only undergo extensive early-years training, but also continue to commit to Norland’s gold standard of child care.

We also have our own Marvellous-vetted nannies who are highly experienced childcare professionals that have been carefully selected to meet the exceptional standards of Marvellous.

This means, every nanny on the app is fully vetted with reference checks, enhanced DBS, and up-to-date Paediatric First Aid training giving you peace of mind that your children are in safe hands.

About Norland.

Norland was founded in Norland Place, London, in 1892 by Emily Ward and has been at the forefront of childcare training ever since. The education at Norland has always been progressive. Today’s students study for a BA (Hons) degree in Early Years Development and Learning alongside the prestigious Norland Diploma, a unique qualification which teaches the practical skills it takes to become a Norlander, or Norland Nanny as they are known. Norland graduates are famous for their best in class standard of training and their iconic uniforms.

Norlanders are employed worldwide through the Norland Agency as nannies and maternity nurses. They command the highest salaries in the industry, clinch the most sought-after posts and enjoy a busy life often working for high profile clients.

With a degree behind them, many Norlanders also progress into other professions that involve working with children, including teaching and nursing.
